After graduating from Temple University, Jessica has worked in the helping profession her entire career. She dedicates herself to growing personally and professionally and using her interpersonal gifts to uplift others. Although Jessica specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, her approach to counseling is holistic with a strong influence of mindfulness. Jessica enjoys helping others recognize how thought patterns and habits create the life environment and state of being. She helps to retrain the mind and thoughts to foster more desirable outcomes and life experiences. Jessica understands that everyone has and will experience a level of challenge and trauma in one’s life and has overcome many of her own. This allows Jessica to be understanding, supportive and provide a service that comes from a place that far transcends professional skills.

Throughout her career, Jessica has been an advocate for the underserved and underrepresented. She has spearheaded policy changes and the delivery of human services to be more accessible and conducive to those who need them. Jessica is a strong communicator and leader. However, individuals who engage her for counseling believe her greatest skills lie in her ability to listen and provide unconditional positive regard and esteem. When Jessica is not supervising or counseling, she enjoys writing, reading, and coaching her son’s youth basketball team.
